My name is Naama, I live in Berkeley, CA. I grew up in Jerusalem, Israel. I feel grateful to bring two big loves together - flowers and spirituality. It is important for me to create florals that not only make the event beautiful but also elevate the experience and bring intention into the space. I do that by using color and form guided by kabbalistic ideas.
My Story
I grew up in Jerusalem, a city made of stone and light. I always wanted to be closer to the elements, to plants and land. One of the ways I found was - Flowers!
Flowers can make any event a totally different experience. Sometimes they are not only beautiful, but they also move the heart, they carry meaning. That is what I am looking for.
This is why I created intentional flowers,
To create flower arrangements that are beautiful,
and at the same time tell a story, increase an intention, and resemble a quality. Flowers that enhance meaning and bring beauty and deep joy into our lives.
I draw my inspiration for meaning from the ancient Jewish kabbalistic tradition. This tradition describes ten qualities for the onfoing creative process of the world and relates color and form to every one of them.
Here is the scheme of colors I created based on one of the Kabbalistic traditions of colors.
For example, a couple asked me to create for their weddings flowers that will resemble the qualities of deep wisdom and the birthing of something new which they felt, defined their relationship. These qualities are connected to the colors - green and purple, and we did a green and purple beautiful design for them.
