Every holiday in the Jewish calendar has a special time, special food,
and special qualities that are connected to it.
Why not flowers?
2020-2021 was a covid-19 year which meant we spent all the holidays at home. My husband challenged me to bring the holidays into our home with flowers, to create intentional flowers for every holiday.
Based on the unique qualities of the holiday I created an intentional bouquet, a flower arrangement that uses the colors suggested by the Kabalistic tradition to resemble these special qualities.

Red and White - Gevura and Keter - Boundaries and Connection at the foot hills of the new year.
Pink and White- Rachamim and keter - Compassion as the gate for repentance.
All the sefirot - collecting all the parts together - the celebration of harvest.
Light blue and Dark red - Hesed and Malhut - asking for rain asking for motherhood.
Yellow, and Dark pink - Tiferet, Netzach and Hod - glory gratitude and clarity.
Greens - Bina - The ability to develop and grow, going back into the womb.
Orange and Purple - Yesod and Hochma - Equanimity and the spark of knowing.
Light Blue and Pink - Hesed and Netzach - Love and perseverance
Dark red - Malchut - Being in the world, the ability to make mistakes and develop real leadership.
